Hangar Log #3 - The Display Case

When I think about the future of Mecha Hangar, I don’t picture shelves first.

I picture display cases.

Glass cases filled with custom builds from the community.

Weathered Zakus.
Detailed panel lines.
Customer paint jobs
Straight builds done clean and proud.

I want people to walk into the store and stop for a moment.

To admire the work.
To ask questions.
To feel inspired.

I want someone picking up their very first kit to see what’s possible.

Not to feel intimidated —
but motivated.

There aren’t many places where builders can showcase their work physically.

Online, we scroll past incredible customs every day.

But in person?
Standing in front of something someone built?
That hits differently.

That’s the kind of space Mecha Hangar is building toward.

A place where the community isn’t just shopping —
it’s contributing.

Right now, that vision starts online.

Small inventory.
Careful growth.
Laying the foundation properly.

But every large build starts as a frame.

The display cases will come later.

For now, we keep building.
