Mecha Hangar didn’t start as a business idea.

It started at a desk, with a kit, a pair of nippers, and hours spent building something piece by piece.

Gunpla has always been more than just plastic models. It’s patience. It’s focus. It’s problem-solving. It’s the quiet satisfaction of seeing something come together because you put the work in.

Mecha Hangar was built on that same mindset.

What began as a personal passion for model kits and mechanical design has grown into a bigger goal — creating a reliable, community-driven Gunpla shop that builders can trust. Not just a place to buy kits, but a place that understands why people build them.

We believe a great hobby store doesn’t just stock products. It supports builders.

Our focus is simple:

• Curate a strong, intentional selection of kits and tools
• Provide fair, transparent pricing
• Offer helpful resources for new and experienced builders
• Grow responsibly — without cutting corners

Right now, Mecha Hangar operates online from Syracuse, NY. But this is only the beginning.

The long-term vision is to create a physical space where builders can gather, share techniques, host build nights, and connect over the hobby. A place where the community feels just as important as the inventory.
