#1 - The Beginning of Mecha Hangar

There’s something special about opening a brand-new kit.
The box is sealed. The runners are untouched. Everything is full of potential — but nothing is finished yet. What it becomes depends entirely on how carefully it’s built.
Mecha Hangar feels a lot like that right now.
This store didn’t start as a grand business plan. It started with a passion for Gunpla — the patience of building piece by piece, the satisfaction of clean panel lines, and the quiet focus that comes from sitting down to create something with your hands.
Over time, that passion turned into a bigger idea.
What if there was a shop built intentionally for builders?
Not just a place to buy kits, but a place that understands the hobby. A place that grows carefully, stocks thoughtfully, and eventually creates space for the community to gather and build together.
Right now, Mecha Hangar is operating online. It’s the first stage — the foundation. We’re focused on building this the right way: learning what builders want, curating the right inventory, and growing sustainably.
The long-term vision is bigger. A physical space. Build nights. Tables filled with kits in progress. A place where beginners and experienced builders feel equally welcome.
But every large build starts with the first piece.
This is ours.
Thank you for being here at the beginning.
